Prospects of the China Garment Market
Having an unlimited business development opportunity, it is obvious that the China garment market has a promising future. As shown in statistic, China is the world’s largest textile and garment exporting country. The total export value of textile and clothing in January – April 2008 was US$53.18 billion. The export value of textile goods reached US$21.68 billion, with a growth of 25.81% while that of clothing and accessories was US$31.5 billion, with a growth of 11.68% comparing to the previous year.

Profile of Hong Kong Garment Market
In January – June 2007, the total export value of garment and fashion accessories from Hong Kong to various parts of the world was US$11.03 billion, with a growth of 9.35% comparing with the previous year. The export value of textile goods was US$4.54 billion, with a growth of 2.02% while that of clothing reached US$6.49 billion, with a growth of 15.11% comparing to the previous year.

Profile of Guangdong Province Economy
It was the most flourishing year in 2007 in Guangdong province. The total import and export value in 2007 reached US$630 billion, being the top province in 22 years.
GDP of Guangdong province in 1st quarter of 2008 was US$719.4 billion, with 10.5% economic growth.

News of Dongguan Market
Dongguan's total import & export has reached US$107 billions from in 2007. Growth by 27% over the same period in 2006.
Dongguan has the largest industrial base of the South China region, with over 180 industrial districts.
Dongguan City has 32 towns, with over 50,000 companies, of which, more than 15,000 are three-capital enterprises.
The Dongguan City is a renowned industrial manufacturing and processing city in China, commanding the most advantageous geographical location. With the superior position in the mid-southern part of the Guangdong Province and North-east of the Pearl River Delta, Dongguan is located midway on the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Economic Corridor, with Hong Kong and Macau as its neighbours. The Beijing-Kowloon Railway, Guangzhou-Shenzhen Railway, Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Zhuhai Expressway, Changping - Humen Expressway and S256 traverse throughout Dongguan. The Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, Shenzhen International Airport and the Hong Kong International Airport provide convenient transportation systems.
